Super Trowel 2026 Subbie Cup
Overview
The Subbie Cup returned with one of the strongest line-ups of the year, bringing together 8 subcontractor companies and some serious bricklaying quality for a full day of competition at Hertford Regional College. This year marked a major step forward for the format, with the first apprentice bricklayers ever to compete at the Subbie Cup, giving the event a new generation alongside the established names that have shaped it from the start. With Safestand as event sponsor — their boards an iconic part of Super Trowel since the first competition — and support right across the event from partners including Ford, Wienerberger, Association of Brickwork Contractors and Stabila, the Subbie Cup carried real weight all day. The Subbie Cup brought together St Albans Brickwork, PBS Potteries, Lee Marley Group, Chine Brickwork, GSQ Brickwork, Winchmore Brickwork, Flahive Brickwork and Swift Brickwork — each putting forward bricklayers to represent company pride on the day.
